Australian Size Guide
Korean to Australian Conversion
Korean and East Asian sizing can be different from what you're used to in Australia. Use this guide to convert Korean sizes, understand “One Size” garments.
Korean Sizes vs Australian Sizes
Korean Size | AU Size (approx.) | Bust (cm) | Waist (cm) | Hips (cm) |
---|---|---|---|---|
55 (S) | AU 8–10 | 82–86 | 65–68 | 88–92 |
66 (M) | AU 10–12 | 87–91 | 69–73 | 93–97 |
77 (L) | AU 12–14 | 92–96 | 74–78 | 98–102 |
88 (XL) | AU 14–16 | 97–101 | 79–84 | 103–107 |
Note: These are body measurements. Always refer to garment measurements listed on individual product pages for the best fit.
What Does “One Size” Mean?
Many Korean garments are labeled “One Size.” This does not mean they fit everyone. Instead, these pieces typically fit AU sizes 6–10, depending on the cut and fabric stretch.
- Garment-specific measurements (in cm) are listed on each product page.
- If you’re unsure, check the measurements and compare them to your own.
How to Measure Yourself
Use a soft measuring tape and measure around:
- Bust: The fullest part of your chest
- Waist: Your natural waistline
- Hips: The widest part of your hips
Fit Tips
- If you're between sizes, size up for fitted garments.
- Loose or oversized items may fit a broader range.
- Stretchy fabrics (like knits) provide more flexibility in fit.

How to Measure Your Foot for Asian Shoe Sizes
Asian shoe sizes—such as Korean or Japanese sizing—are typically based on your foot length in millimeters (mm) or centimeters (cm). Follow this simple guide to measure your foot at home and find your best fit.
What You Need
- A blank sheet of paper
- A pencil or pen
- A ruler or measuring tape (in cm or mm)
- Socks (optional, wear the type you plan to wear with the shoes)
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Place the paper on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).
- Stand on the paper with your heel against a wall.
- Trace around your foot (or have someone help you) while keeping the pencil upright.
- Measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe in mm or cm.
- Add 5–10 mm to this measurement for a more comfortable fit (especially if wearing socks).
This total is your Asian shoe size. For example, if your foot measures 240 mm (24 cm), your Korean shoe size is 240.
Sizing Tips
- Measure both feet — use the larger measurement.
- Measure in the evening when your feet are slightly swollen for a better fit.
- If between sizes, size up for comfort.
