FAQ

We know you might have questions, and we're here to help! Our FAQ page is designed to provide quick and clear answers to the most common inquiries about our products and collections.

Are all your products made in south korea?

At Stefani Studio, we curate high-quality, designer clothing and accessories from independent designers across South Korea and East Asia. Our products are produced in both South Korea and China. This is due to manufacturing or stock limitations in South Korea. Many products sold wholesale in South Korea are manufactured in China by factories exporting directly to the South Korean market. If you would like to know more about where a specific product has been manufactured, please contact us for more information, as due to demand and stock levels, our suppliers change on a regular basis.

Additionally, we also sell products inspired by Korean fashion produced in other East Asian countries, such as China. These products are often produced in a variety of sizes and may be more frequently restocked. We label these products as "Korean Style" to reflect their design inspiration.

Do you drop ship?

No — we don’t operate as a traditional drop-shipping store. We have our own warehouse, and orders are shipped directly from us so we can maintain quality control, careful packing, and reliable service.

That said, we work intentionally in small, responsible batches. On occasion, a product may sell out faster than expected and need to be reordered from one of our trusted suppliers. When this happens, the additional time is already accounted for in our advertised shipping timeframes, so there are no surprises.

While we do everything we can to keep our inventory accurate and up to date, very occasionally an item may no longer be available through us or our supplier. If this happens, we’ll contact you promptly, offer a suitable alternative where possible, and make sure any decision is entirely up to you.

Our approach prioritises thoughtful consumption, transparency, and quality over mass production — slower fashion, done properly.

What types of materials are used in your products?

At Stefani Studio, our products are crafted using a variety of high-quality materials to ensure durability, comfort, and style. Here's an overview of the materials commonly used in our offerings:

1. Leather

We utilize various types of leather in our products, each selected for its unique characteristics:

  • Full-Grain / First Layer Leather: Known for its durability and natural texture, used in premium items.
  • Top-Grain / Second Layer Leather: Offers a smooth finish, ideal for sleek designs.
  • Genuine Leather: Provides a balance between quality and affordability.
  • Suede: Features a soft, velvety surface, perfect for a luxurious feel.
  • Nubuck: Similar to suede but with a finer texture, offering a sophisticated look.
  • Patent Leather: Characterized by its glossy finish, adding a touch of elegance.
  • Bonded Leather: An eco-friendly, vestitle and affordable option made from recycled leather fibers.
  • Faux Leather (Vegan Leather): Synthetic alternatives that mimic the look and feel of real leather, suitable for those seeking cruelty-free options.

2. Fabrics

In addition to leather, we incorporate various fabrics into our products:

  • Cotton: Breathable and soft, used in linings and casual wear.
  • Linen: Lightweight and durable, ideal for summer collections.
  • Wool: Provides warmth and texture, commonly used in winter accessories.
  • Silk: Adds a touch of luxury with its smooth and lustrous feel.
  • Viscose: A lightweight, breathable fabric made from wood pulp, offering a silky texture and excellent drape. It’s commonly used in dresses, blouses, and linings.
  • Satin: A smooth, glossy fabric with a luxurious sheen, often used in evening wear, lingerie, and accessories. It drapes beautifully and feels soft against the skin.
  • Synthetic Fabrics: Such as polyester and nylon, chosen for their durability and versatility.

3. Hardware

To complement our designs, we use high-quality hardware components:

  • Metal Zippers: Ensure longevity and smooth operation.
  • Buckles and Clasps: Made from stainless steel or brass for a polished look.
  • Rivets and Studs: Add decorative elements while reinforcing structural integrity.
Which Types of Leather Are Used in Your Products?
Type of Leather Description Uses in Fashion Characteristics
Full-Grain Leather The highest quality leather made from the top layer of the hide with natural grain intact. Luxury handbags, high-end jackets, premium shoes, belts, and wallets. Durable, breathable, and develops a patina over time.
Top-Grain Leather Slightly sanded or buffed version of full-grain leather to remove imperfections. Designer handbags, jackets, and premium footwear. Softer and more flexible than full-grain but slightly less durable.
Genuine Leather Made from lower layers of the hide, processed and embossed for a uniform look. Affordable jackets, belts, wallets, and handbags. Lower durability but can be treated to mimic higher-quality leather.
Suede Made from the underside of the hide, featuring a soft, velvety texture. Boots, jackets, gloves, and handbags. Soft and luxurious but prone to staining and moisture damage.
Nubuck Similar to suede but made from the outer hide, creating a soft, durable finish. High-end shoes, jackets, and handbags. More durable than suede but still sensitive to moisture.
Patent Leather Coated with a glossy, waterproof finish for a sleek, polished look. Formal shoes, handbags, and accessories. Shiny, sleek, and water-resistant but prone to scratches.
Bonded Leather A composite leather material made by blending recycled leather fibers with a binder. Belts, handbags, and accessories; also used in furniture and bookbinding. Affordable, sustainable, lightweight, and flexible with various finishes.
